Description:
Very pretty and elegant mare by the top stallion Sandro Hit out of a Lord Sinclair mare.
Santana was purchased by the stud as a three year old and has bred one foal with us (can be seen). She had some initial training before being put in foal. She was then brought into work at the end of her fourth year.
She has a fantastic temperament and is very trainable. She is very straightforward. Santana has three very good, elegant paces, with an active hindleg, and is well established in the basics. She is progressing well with her lateral work.
Santana recently went to her first competition, a BD affiliated event, and proved to be easy to load, travel and work in with the other horses. She learnt quickly from the first test to show an improvement in the second test to finish second overall. She was very well behaved and liked by the judges.
Santana hacks out alone or in company. She is a real pleasure to ride and handle.
